Phil-Am TC Scholarship Fund

Since its inception in 1986, the Phil-AM TC Scholarship Fund has awarded over 250 scholarships to deserving students to pursue higher education in any college or university, including IRSC.  Application deadline for non-IRSC applicants is March 31. College Scholarship Eligibility Requirements


1. Frequency - One-time grant

2. Number Awarded -  According to number of eligible graduates

3. Amount of Scholarship - Based on scholarship fund available; Top Awardee will receive more

4. Eligibility: (a) Current Phil-Am member for the past 2 years (b) Active in Phil-Am through participation and/or volunteerism in its activities and/or events (c) Must be a resident of St. Lucie, Indian River, Martin or Okeechobee Counties

5. Application Requirements: (a) Completed Application Form (b) Official Transcript from your HS Registrar (c) 2 Letters of Reference, excluding relatives - from your current HS, from a past or current member of the Phil-Am who can provide details/extent of your participation/volunteerism in the association, Letter to include specific examples illustrating applicant’s abilities and character traits. (d) Write an essay about your heritage (e) Meet Eligibility Requirements

6. Award Presentation - Award will be presented at the Phil-Am Annual Ball in May.
